Housing
Live On Campus During Summer Bridge
Living in the residence halls during the Summer Bridge Program enhances your experience by the presence of trained live-in staff, access to study lounges and computer labs, and educational, social, cultural and recreational activities that complement your classroom experiences. Get to know other students that will become fellow classmates (and possible roommates) in the fall.
The housing move-in date is Sunday, July 26 and the first meal is dinner. There will be 2 move in sessions on that day. Your move in session will depend on which Summer Bridge orientation session to which you are assigned. More details will be emailed you to once you register.
Please note that the Summer Bridge Housing contract is for summer session only. All Summer Bridge students must leave the residence halls by 5:00 PM on your move out date: for English Bridge participants that date is August 29, 2009 and for Math Bridge participants that date is September 12, 2009; no exceptions.
Living on campus is highly recommended for all Summer Bridge participants, but is not mandatory.
Residence Life
For those who stay in a residence hall, Housing Services provides a myriad of social, educational, and academic programs that will complement your Summer Bridge experience. Students will have a Resident Advisor who is also a student living in your community. They are in charge of the floor community and can assist with program ideas, and other issues that may arise during your stay. Be sure to talk with them when you arrive and get to know as many of your fellow community members as possible.

Qualified financial aid students will have their accounts credited to pay housing charges by the due date on the contract cover letter, and therefore, should return the Summer Bridge Housing contract immediately after registering for Summer Bridge.
Students with housing loans or students who are paying housing charges without financial aid should return the contract and submit payments as stated on the cover letter for the Summer Bridge Housing Contract.
